13 Spooky Halloween Crafts

Halloween is fast approaching and it’s time to get in the spirit of everything spooky!
I’ve been scouring the internet looking for some of my favourite DIY Halloween Crafts to share with you. Here are just a few.
1) Poison Toffee Apples
The toffee apple is the ‘must have’ for any Halloween menu and I love this fairy tale twist on the classic treat. After all, Halloween isn’t about happily ever afters.

2) Book Page Pumpkins
Pumpkins come in all shapes and sizes at Halloween so why not in book form! Well technically it’s a book in the shape of a pumpkin.. but anyway! It’s a great way to upcycle old or damaged books.

4) Frankenstein’s Monster Cupcakes
Haven’t we all wondered what would’ve happened if Victor Frankenstein had been a baker instead of a scientist? Well, good news!

5) Cheesecloth Spirits
These look absolutely incredible! A sure way to scare away any pesky trick-or-treaters this Halloween.

6) Halloween Wreath
Wreaths are a great decoration at other festivities, so why not Halloween? Taking inspiration from Edgar Allen Poe, this crafter has really tuned into their inner macabre.

7) Vampire Pumpkin
A craft for those who don’t really want to spend hours carving fancy, complex shapes into their pumpkins (i.e. me)! Very effective but simple, and look at it! Totally adorabl-.. I mean, terrifying.

Here’s one that you can easily do with the kids. Great fun but also nice and messy!

This is definitely one of my favourite Halloween crafts. It looks amazing and there’s so many different options! People have made some really creative window displays.
13) Pine Cone Spiders
Last on the list is another one for the kids! These look really easy to make and are very seasonal.
